Welcome to my website dedicated 100% to Esim reviews for travelers (Business or casual) and digital nomads. If you move around a lot like I do and are tired of buying a new SIM card every time you cross the border into a new country, then this site is for you. I can’t tell you how many times I dropped my SIM Card  in between the cushions in of my AirBnB coach trying to switch them. No more! ESIMs are the way to go.

What is an ESIM?

ESIMs are a Fairly new cell phone technology that gives you all the benefits of a local country sim card  – you remember that hard rectangular plastic card with a gold microchip in it about the size of your thumbnail? ESIMs can also be called embedded SIM.

You get fast internet, cheap calls and data, and you don’t have to hassle with a physical chip. You do have to install an APP and set up the ESIM once you buy it from the online store, so there is still a little set up involved but its pretty easy. There are a number of ESIM Providers to choose from:

Airalo

Holafly

Nomad

MobiMatter

BNESIM

AloSim

GigSky

SimOptions

How much do ESims cost?

It depends how long you want the service but they are cheap and comparable to their physical counterparts. Expect to pay between $4-$15 depending on the duration. If you want 7 days that will be about $5, and 30 days close to $10 to $15. Prices vary by country and most ESIMs are for just one country. If you are on your private jet everday like Elon Musk you can get a Global ESim for $50/mo.

Is My Phone ESIM Compatible?

Apple, Google, Samsung, and Huawei phones are compatible. Here is a complete list of all Smartphones that are compatible with ESIM technology: https://esim.holafly.com/how-to/esim-phones/
